Floodwood Pond Trail (Blue)

This short blue-marked trail runs just over half a mile through the Five Ponds Wilderness Area, likely serving as a connector or access route to Floodwood Pond itself. At 0.6 miles, it's brief enough for a quick out-and-back or as part of a longer loop in this remote section of the western Adirondacks. The blue blazes indicate a maintained DEC trail, though conditions in the Five Ponds region can be rugged and less trafficked than trails closer to Lake Placid or the High Peaks.
