Adirondack Balloon Festival 2026
Four days of dawn and dusk hot-air balloon launches at Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport in Queensbury, at the foothills of the Adirondacks near Lake George. Free admission, family-friendly. One of the largest balloon festivals in the Northeast.

ADK 46ers Annual Fall Banquet
An evening to celebrate, connect, and give back with the Adirondack 46ers. Dinner by Simply Gourmet begins at 5 PM, followed by the President's Award ceremony honoring outstanding volunteer service, and featured guest speaker Bethany Adams — author of Unsupported — sharing stories from her remarkable Adirondack adventure. Ticket deadline: September 8.
Great Adirondack Moose Festival
The 16th Annual Great Adirondack Moose Festival in Indian Lake — a family weekend celebrating the return of the moose to the central Adirondacks. Highlights include the Moose Calling Contest, Moose Lab 101 activities, guided wilderness hikes and a self-guided Moose River Plains tour, whitewater rafting excursions, festival helicopter flights, a crafters and vendors show, the Strut Your Mutt dog contest, children's activities, and live music. Sponsored by the Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce.
2nd Annual Bikers for Boobies Charity Ride
A charity motorcycle ride from Adirondack Harley-Davidson in Broadalbin, with food, and live music from Joe Ader & The Lug Nuts at the after party. Registration at 9:30 AM, kickstands up at 10:30, after party from noon — all are welcome, ride or party-only. Lake George Village Oktoberfest & Fall Festival 2026
Three-day fall festival on Canada Street and Shepard Park: nonstop German and polka music, traditional dancers, the Adirondack Brewery beer garden, stein-hoist and keg-toss competitions, local artisan vendors, carnival rides, and family activities. Free entry.
Adirondack Brewery Oktoberfest 2026
The Adirondack Brewery's annual Oktoberfest — German lagers and Bavarian fare brewed and served on-site, live oompah, and the brewery's adjacent Festival Park grounds open through the weekend.
Saranac Lake Winter Carnival 2027
One of the oldest winter carnivals in the United States — running annually since 1897. Ten days of ice palace openings, parades, fireworks, Royal Court coronations, sporting events, and the legendary fry-pan toss. Headquartered at 22 River Street, Saranac Lake.
