§ Field Notes
About Raquette River Brewing.
The taproom in Tupper Lake pours small-batch Adirondack ales brewed on-site, with a rotating roster that includes both flagship styles and creative seasonal offerings. World India Pale Ale and Woodwalker New England IPA anchor the year-round lineup, while past releases have ventured into Wicked Felina Mexican Lager, Sweet Heat Blueberry Wheat, Strawberry Rhubarb Sour, and a Watermelon Cucumber Kölsch. The brewery also stocks New York State liquors and ciders at the bar.
Instead of an in-house kitchen, Raquette River Brewing operates a food truck alley with **four vendors on-site year-round**. LJ Food Truck serves chicken wings, buffalo chicken fries, and wraps Wednesday through Sunday. Fusion Street Pizza runs a wood-fired oven for Neapolitan-style pies Tuesday through Sunday, with online ordering available. PorkBusters BBQ offers traditional and inventive barbecue platters, a Tuesday taco special, and gluten-free options seven days a week. The Marketplace Food Truck, known for smoked meats, poutine, and fish fries, closes seasonally and returns each April. The food trucks operate independently, and the brewery's social channels post schedule updates.
The brewery opens daily from **11 a.m. to 9 p.m.**, closing only on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Both the taproom and outdoor areas welcome dogs, and the space is designed to accommodate families. Regular programming includes Rustic Mountain Swing dance lessons and trivia nights, though schedules shift around school vacations.
Raquette River Brewing participates in the Adirondack Brew Pass, a ten-brewery passport offering a buy-one-get-one beer at each stop. The brewery also encourages votes in the Daily Gazette's annual Best of the Mountains contest, with voting windows typically running into early May.

“The Food Truck Alley is the reason to go — four kitchens, one tap list, an afternoon figured out.”— the publisher
