About The Adirondack Sky Center & Observatory.

Dedicated to astronomy and space exploration, the center offers a variety of educational programs and public events. These include stargazing sessions, the "Starlab" portable planetarium which travels to schools and hosts community shows, and the "Cygnus Lecture Series." Youth initiatives such as "Cosmic Explorers" feature mentorship, a coding & robotics camp, and a Space Camp for ages 10-16. The center operates from its Roll Off Roof Observatory and the Astronomy Hub in Tupper Lake. An annual Astrophotography Conference is a key event, with images captured by attendees under Tupper Lake's dark skies showcased in the "Universal Visions" exhibit. The recently acquired digital StarLab portable planetarium further enhances their immersive cosmic experiences for students and the community.
