Canoe Carry.

A short portage route spanning just a tenth of a mile, designed to move watercraft between nearby water bodies or around an obstacle. The brief distance makes it manageable even with a loaded canoe or kayak. These connecting carries are common throughout the Adirondack backcountry, where lakes and ponds often sit within walking distance of one another.
