Oval Wood Dish Corporation Railroad

The Oval Wood Dish Corporation Railroad is a remnant industrial corridor from Tupper Lake's early 20th-century logging history, when the Oval Wood Dish Company operated one of the largest wood-turning mills in the world. At roughly 500 feet, this trace is more historical artifact than recreational trail—a piece of infrastructure that once connected timber operations to mill facilities. Its significance lies in what it represents: the network of narrow-gauge lines that crisscrossed the central Adirondacks during the region's industrial timber era.
