§ The Trails · Lake Placid

Old Peninsula Road.

A 0.7-mile dirt track that works equally well on foot or by gravel bike. The surface stays forgiving, the grade stays flat, and the whole thing takes less time than the drive to Lake Placid. Good for shaking out legs after a long car ride or sneaking in movement before dinner when the bigger trails feel like too much commitment.
