§ The Trails · Great Sacandaga Lake

King Road.

Half a mile is all you get on King Road, but sometimes that's exactly what you need. The trail works best as a leg-stretcher between longer outings or when you've got 20 minutes and want dirt underfoot instead of pavement. Don't expect solitude or views—this is functional hiking, the kind that clears your head without eating your day.
