Adirondack Rail Trail

The Adirondack Rail Trail is a developing multi-use corridor that follows former railway corridors through the Adirondacks, connecting towns and natural areas across the region. Sections have opened incrementally over recent years, with the full route planned to eventually span from Lake Placid to Tupper Lake and beyond. Check current conditions before visiting, as surfacing, seasonality, and access points vary by segment.
