§ The Trails · Saranac Lake

Aboning Road.

A 0.7-mile dirt track that works equally well on foot or on a gravel bike. The surface is forgiving, the grade is negligible, and the whole thing takes less time than finding parking at most trailheads. Perfect for working out yesterday's drive or killing 20 minutes before dinner when the lake is too cold and the bar isn't open yet.
