White Pine Camp

White Pine Camp was built in 1907 on Osgood Pond near Paul Smiths, and for ten weeks in the summer of 1926 it served as Calvin Coolidge's Summer White House while the nation's business followed him north. Its rustic bridges, boardwalks, and Japanese tea house over the water are among the most photographed in the Park. Today the camp offers seasonal guided tours, and several of its cottages can be rented by the week.
