Dix Landing Trail.

Half a mile out and back, ground surface, no drama. This is the trail you take when you want 20 minutes in the woods between other plans or when the kids need to burn off car energy before dinner. It won't give you views or solitude or a workout, but it will get you to the landing on Dix Mountain Wilderness water access without eating your afternoon.
