Opalescent Road

Opalescent Road is a short 0.3-mile connector in the High Peaks backcountry, most commonly encountered by hikers traveling between Flowed Lands and the upper reaches of the Opalescent River drainage. Despite the "road" designation—a legacy name from old logging routes—it's now a typical foot trail that links into the broader network toward Lake Colden and Feldspar Brook. Expect minimal elevation change and a quick walk between junctions.
