The Calamity Brook Trail follows the historic route into the western High Peaks, tracing the brook that drains Flowed Lands and connects the Upper Works trailhead area toward Lake Colden. This corridor has served as a primary access route for over a century, threading through the valley between the Santanoni and Seward ranges.
