About The Cabin Grill.
Main Street in downtown Lake Placid, inside The Grand Adirondack Hotel, the Tribute Portfolio property that took over the historic Northwoods Hotel building. The restaurant is the food-and-beverage side of the hotel, designed to function as both the in-house dining room for guests and a Main Street option for outside visitors.
The design language pulls from the Grand Adirondack hotels of an earlier era: Great Room lobby, communal bar seating, fireplace, and a relaxed posture that lets travelers and locals share the room. The bar is the easier entry point, particularly for visitors who want a single drink at the end of a Whiteface day without sitting down for a full meal.
The specific menu, hours, and reservation policies move with the season and the hotel's broader programming; confirm directly with the hotel. The room is part of a working hotel rather than a standalone restaurant, which sets the expectation: come for the architectural setting and the convenience, not for the chef-driven dinner experience you'd seek at a destination kitchen. Best for hotel guests and Main Street visitors who want a relaxed lobby-bar setting with food in reach.
