About Adirondack Medical Center — Saranac Lake.
Adirondack Medical Center (AMC) in Saranac Lake is the regional acute-care hospital serving the Adirondack High Peaks — a 25-bed critical-access hospital with a 24-hour emergency department, primary and specialty care, surgical services, imaging, and laboratory.
It is part of Adirondack Health, the not-for-profit health system that also operates the Lake Placid Health & Medical Fitness Center (a primary-care + outpatient campus) and the Mercy Care for the Adirondacks clinic in Tupper Lake.
