The Lorca is a reimagined classic Adirondack motor lodge in the hamlet of Indian Lake, run as a self-check-in property for travelers who want a quiet, design-forward base in the central Adirondacks without the formality (or staff overhead) of a traditional hotel.

The eight rooms are walled in natural pine with organic materials throughout. Each comes stocked with full bedding, towels, toiletries, coffee, tea, a mini-fridge, and s'mores supplies plus firewood. There are no televisions — the property leans deliberately toward outdoor time, reading, and unplugging.

The grounds include grills, fire pits, lawn games, a seasonal weekend-hours pool, a nature trail, and a picnic area. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout when you need it. Guests get a discount at the Indian Lake Marina, a short walk away on the lake itself.
