About McSweeney's Irish Pub.
Route 30 in Indian Lake, on the main north-south through the hamlet. McSweeney's runs as the village's reliable pub: shepherd's pie, fish and chips, burgers, a decent pour at the bar, and a room that fills up after a day on the lake or the trails.
The scarcity is the point. Indian Lake has a limited restaurant rotation in any season, and most of the alternatives close one or two nights a week. McSweeney's runs seven days, which makes it the default when the other places are dark. That's not a knock; it's a useful fact when you're planning a Sunday or a Tuesday dinner without much else open.
Family-friendly room, casual service. Best for hikers off the Snowy Mountain trail, paddlers off Indian Lake, and rafters heading to or from the Hudson Gorge run. Year-round.
