Buck Mt from Hogtown.

The shortest route to Buck's summit gains 1,116 feet in 2.1 miles, making it the quickest way up if you're starting from the Pilot Knob side. The trail climbs steady on natural ground and sees mountain bikes alongside hikers, a rarity for Adirondack summits. Figure 97 minutes to the top. Blue dots mark the way.
