About Johnson’s Family Farm Store.
Johnson's Family Farm Store & Café anchors the south end of Northville's Main Street, on the north shore of Great Sacandaga Lake in Fulton County. **Anne-Marie and Bradley Johnson** started the operation as a Saturday-morning pop-up by the old bank thirteen years ago, opened their permanent store at **132 N Main Street in 2014**, and expanded into the adjacent vacant-diner space in **spring 2021** — gaining a larger kitchen, more shelf space, and counter seating.
The store sells **sustainably-grown produce from the Johnsons' own farm in Hope, NY** — a working farm a few miles up the Sacandaga River. The current produce mix includes Adirondack Blue potatoes, ten-plus varieties of fresh garlic, stone fruits, fresh turmeric and ginger, popping corn on the cob, plus a wide range of greens, peppers, tomatoes, and herbs. The store also carries **dairy products, local meats, baked goods, and sauces**.
The café side runs **regular and gluten-free bakery items, fair-trade coffees, teas, and chocolates**, plus **homemade soups, salads, gourmet sandwiches, and fresh-pressed juices and smoothies** made to order.
Best for: travelers on NY-30 stopping for a real lunch, summer cottagers stocking the fridge for the week, and anyone who wants to see what a working-farm-to-storefront operation looks like up close.
