About Lake George Historical Association.
The Lake George Historical Association is a non-profit organization committed to safeguarding the rich history of the Lake George region. Housed within a beautifully preserved 1845 courthouse at 290 Canada Street in Lake George Village, the association invites visitors to delve into centuries of local heritage. Admission is free, making it accessible for everyone to explore.
The association features fascinating exhibits, unique artifacts, and compelling stories that illuminate the events and people who shaped the area. Beyond its permanent displays, the LGHA hosts various engaging programs, including ghost tours and a lecture series offered both in-person and online, covering diverse historical topics.
