About Raquette Lake Boys & Girls Camps.
Established in 1916, this family-owned sleepaway camp in the Adirondacks is one of America's oldest brother/sister camps. It provides separate programs for boys and girls, offering both 7-week full summer and 4-week half summer sessions for campers aged 6 to 15.
The camps aim to create a safe environment where children develop lasting friendships, build confidence, and grow into remarkable young adults. Directors guide campers through a wide variety of activities, from traditional sports and wilderness camping to waterfront fun, encouraging them to discover their strengths.
Campers enjoy a diverse range of programs designed to help them find activities they love and excel in. Many participants return year after year to rekindle old friendships and form new ones, with some families representing second, third, and even fourth generations of campers.
