About Harris Bay Yacht Club.
Cleverdale, on the east shore of Lake George, where Bay Road meets the water. Harris Bay Yacht Club has run as a member-owned full-service marina since 1983, which on this lake is institutional standing. The 270 slips make it one of the largest private operations on Lake George and one of the few that handles big-boat dockage on the east side.
Every slip carries fresh water and 30-amp shore power. The club is set up for larger vessels, which is the practical reason owners of the bigger boats choose it. Beyond seasonal dockage, the operation covers launch and haul-out, spring commissioning, winter de-commissioning, and outside winter storage. Year-round care for the fleet.
The support stack is the rest of the value. Fully stocked ship store, gas dock with pump-out, on-site mechanic, trained dockhands. The Adirondack-style clubhouse runs as the social piece: restrooms, showers, laundry, kitchenette, picnic tables, gas grills. Boat and dock brokerage rounds out the bigger life-cycle questions. An elected owner-member board sets the policies, which keeps the operation steady. Best for east-shore owners who want one address that covers the whole season.
