About House of Pizza.
Montcalm Street in downtown Ticonderoga, a short walk from the Heritage Museum and the south end of the village. House of Pizza opened in 2002 and has run as a family- and woman-owned pizzeria ever since. The recipes and the kitchen rhythm have stayed steady through 20-plus years of turnover in the rest of the Ticonderoga restaurant scene.
The menu is the traditional Italian-American playbook: pizza by the pie or slice, calzones, baked pasta, and salads. Volume goes out the door for pickup and delivery as much as it stays in the room, which is the right shape for a working town. No-contact delivery and curbside pickup remain on the menu from the pandemic build-out.
The pizza club program is the loyalty hook: the 11th pizza is free after 10 orders, which makes more sense for Fort Ticonderoga staff and Ticonderoga locals than for one-time visitors. Tables for 15 or more take reservations. Large food trays available for events. Free Wi-Fi and free refills. Best for a fast lunch after the Heritage Museum or a delivery dinner back at the rental.
