About ADK Street Eats.
ADK Street Eats is a food trailer at 1179 NY-86 in Ray Brook — the small hamlet between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. It's run by chef Matt Fleury, who built the trailer around a tight, made-to-order menu that pulls from Mexican, New England, and central-New-York street-food traditions.
The hits: Carne Asada and Al Pastor tacos, steak burritos, lobster rolls, the ADK Spiedie chicken sandwich (Fleury's take on the Binghamton-area classic), and Rochester Hot Meats. Sides include Chipotle Fries with ranch and Charro Beans.
Hours: Tuesday – Thursday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., Saturday 12 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Sunday 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. Closed Mondays. Phone: (518) 944-1364.
Best for: NY-86 travelers between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake who want a fast, well-executed lunch or early dinner without sitting down in a restaurant.
