Silver Bay YMCA Conference & Family Retreat Center occupies 700 acres with a full mile of Lake George shoreline on the lake's northwest shore, between Hague and Bolton Landing. Founded in 1904, the property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been continuously operated as a YMCA retreat and conference center for more than 120 years.

Accommodation spans the full range: economic dormitory-style rooms, hotel-standard guest rooms, family cottages, and large multi-bedroom guest houses, totaling 253 rooms across the campus. The mix of room types makes Silver Bay equally well-suited to budget church-group retreats, multi-family reunions, and corporate off-sites.

Meeting and event spaces scale from intimate enclosed pavilions and historic halls up to a 700-person auditorium, with the William Boyd Center's Luther Wishard conference room seating over 300. Fifteen miles of on-site hiking trails wind through the property, and the lakefront supports swimming, paddling, and small-boat sailing.
