Family-run Brant Lake campground on 75 wooded acres — six-acre spring-fed pond, sandy beach, founded 1967.

Hidden Pond Campsite is a family-run seasonal campground at 389 Grassville Road in Brant Lake, founded in 1967 and operated by the same family ever since.

The property covers 75 acres of pristine woodland and is built around a 6-acre man-made spring-fed pond — clear water, a sandy swimming beach, and good shore fishing. No boats are permitted on the pond, which is the policy the campground uses to keep the water quiet and family-friendly.

Sites accommodate tents and RVs; reservations and rate inquiries by phone at (518) 494-2820. Open seasonally — call before driving up early or late in the season.

Best for: families with young kids who want a swim-and-fish base, multi-night campers looking for a quieter alternative to the bigger Lake George area campgrounds, and groups looking for a small Adirondack camp without the crowds.
