1150 Kiwassa Lake Road, three miles south of Saranac Lake village and 10 miles west of Lake Placid. The property covers 20 wooded acres on the shore of Lake Kiwassa, with frontage along the lake and its outlet. From the dock, 23 miles of connected waterways open up into the Saranac chain.

The lodging splits into two products. The vintage cabins date to the 1960s, log-hewn and knotty pine inside, deliberately televisionless to keep the experience analog. Most sit directly on the water or the outlet. The lodge suites are the newer build, designed to feel like a boathouse, positioned at the water's edge with traditional hotel-room comforts and waterfront views.

Wi-Fi is deliberately concentrated on a single porch rather than piped into every room, which is the property's choice to enforce the unplugged posture. Many guests are repeat bookers who come back yearly for that exact policy. Best for couples and families who want lakefront on a smaller, quieter Saranac-chain water than Lower Saranac itself, and who don't mind that the cabins are old rather than renovated.
