Inside it's wood-stove warm — a full kitchen that can feed a crowd, a long table for card games, and bedrooms that sleep six without bunking anyone on a couch. Outside, the water is twelve steps from the porch door. Kayaks hang in the boathouse; the swimming is sandy-bottomed and gradual, easy for kids.
