Guest Terms of Service & Booking Agreement.

Purpose

These Terms govern all guests using AdirondackRegion.com and its mobile applications to discover or request lodging within the Adirondack Park.

Platform Role

AdirondackRegion.com is a marketing and booking referral platform and, unless expressly stated otherwise, is not the property owner, lodging provider or merchant of record.

Reservations

Reservations are subject to host approval where applicable. Hosts establish pricing, house rules, occupancy limits, cancellation policies and payment terms. A booking request is an offer to book based on the details the guest provides — dates, number of guests, pets and any special requirements — and guests are responsible for the accuracy of those details. Hosts may decline or condition acceptance on them.

Pricing & Fees

Where the Platform displays a price for a stay, the displayed subtotal covers the lodging charges and all mandatory fees for the stay; applicable taxes are itemized and included in the displayed total. Refundable deposits, if any, are established by the Host and are not part of the subtotal. The Platform charges guests no booking or service fee. Hosts pay the Platform a referral fee on completed stays; that fee is the Host's obligation and is never added to the guest's price. Final pricing for a stay is confirmed by the Host on acceptance.

Payments

Guests pay Hosts directly unless the Platform later introduces payment processing. Refunds, chargebacks and tax issues are governed by the Host's policies.

Guest Conduct

Guests agree to comply with all house rules, applicable laws, occupancy limits and property requirements and are responsible for damage they cause.

Reviews

Guests may submit honest reviews. The Platform may moderate, remove or edit reviews for policy compliance and retains editorial control.

Communications

Guests consent to receive reservation-related communications and destination information, marketing and travel content from AdirondackRegion.com, subject to applicable law.

Disclaimers

The Platform provides services AS IS and disclaims liability for host conduct, property conditions, injuries, weather, wildlife, acts of God, travel disruptions and third-party actions.

Termination

The Platform may suspend or terminate guest accounts or access at its discretion and may amend these Terms from time to time.
