About The Algonquin Restaurant.
Lake Shore Drive in Bolton Landing, on the west side of Lake George. The Algonquin runs as a working lake-day restaurant, the kind of address that's been part of a Bolton Landing summer for generations. The footprint gives it more seating arrangements than most lakeside restaurants on this lake.
Three zones split the room. The dock-side decks put you over the water with the boats coming in. The indoor seating by the Sweet Briar Island Overlook Bar handles weather days and parties that want a sit-down meal without sun. The Topside dining area, on the upper level, gets the best lake views and is the request to make at booking.
The menu carries crowd-pleasers: Fish Point and Hens and Chicken are the signature plates, with salads, sandwiches, and burgers covering the rest. Reservations work for some seating options; others run walk-in. Lunch and dinner served seven days a week, April through October. Best for Bolton Landing area renters and Lake George visitors looking for a real lakeside lunch instead of fighting Canada Street for a table.
