Rudy's CHALET WHITEFACE B&B.

Rudy's Chalet Whiteface is a ten-room bed-and-breakfast in Wilmington, NY — home of Whiteface Mountain and High Falls Gorge. The chalet is unusual in two ways: it's a sizable B&B (most local B&Bs are three-to-five rooms), and every room is dog-friendly for well-behaved dogs.

Each guest room has two log beds (some configured with three queens, one king, or one full instead), a 42-inch smart TV, private tiled bathroom, a table and chairs, a futon couch in many rooms, a mini fridge with freezer, and a street-level entrance — no stair-climbing needed at check-in.

The main floor includes a private breakfast room and two lounges. One lounge has a large stone wood-burning fireplace, a 75-inch curved smart TV, a ping pong table, games, and a library of books and toys for all guests. Outside: fire pits, hammocks in summer, and mountain views.

Continental breakfast 7:30–9:30 a.m. Evening dining on-site: Rudy's Scar Bar & Grille, the in-house pub, serving reasonably priced pub fare with entertainment, open 2 p.m. to midnight on most days. Best for: ski groups, dog owners, families, and travelers wanting larger common-space amenities than a standard small B&B offers.
