Pack Forest Exploration & Climate-Adaptive Forestry

Pack Forest in Warrensburg, NY, is a sprawling 2,500-acre environmental landmark used by SUNY ESF for forestry research and hands-on ecological education. This program will begin by exploring the complexity and ecology of mature and old-growth forests, including a visit to the well-known white pine, the Grandmother Tree.
