About Six Nations Indian Museum.

This cultural center showcases over 3000 artifacts, providing a deep dive into the rich culture of the Six Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy, also known as the Haudenosaunee. These nations include the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, Seneca, and Tuscarora. Beyond the extensive artifact collection, the center also features engaging storytelling lectures that bring the history and traditions to life. The on-site gift shop offers a variety of items reflecting Six Nations culture, such as Mohawk baskets, intricate beadwork, books, t-shirts, silver jewelry, and original acrylic paintings. The center is a family-owned establishment, run by Mohawk people of Akwesasne, and is situated in the scenic Northeastern Adirondack Mountains, offering an authentic cultural experience within a beautiful natural setting.
