Jim's Bait Shop is a family-owned bait-and-tackle store in Mayfield, a short drive from the shore of Great Sacandaga Lake. It carries a full line of live bait and tackle — Rapala, Gary Yamamoto and other soft plastics, spoons and spinners, rods, reels, tip-ups, and power augers for the hard-water season. Open seven days a week, it's the kind of local shop where you can find out what's working on the reservoir before you launch. Major cards accepted.
