South Bay Creek feeds the southern basin of Lake George — a quiet tributary that drains marshland and low hills east of the hamlet of Huletts Landing. The creek sees most of its traffic from paddlers staging at the mouth, where it spreads into a shallow delta before opening to the bay proper; upstream access is limited by private land and tangled wetland corridors.
