The Boathouse Restaurant

The Boathouse Restaurant offers waterfront dining on Lake George with beautiful views. Guests can enjoy a menu featuring juicy steaks, burgers, fresh seafood, and pasta, along with nightly specials. Seasonal live entertainment is also provided. Family-owned since 1985 by the Vogel family, the restaurant operates from April through October. The setting is a former 19th-century boathouse once owned by George Foster Peabody, providing a unique architectural ambiance. Diners can capture the best of summer from the outside decks, watching boaters and cruise ships. Two bars, available both inside and out, offer a selection of draft and craft beer, specialty cocktails, frozen treats, and carefully selected wines. The venue accommodates weddings, private parties, and meetings for groups ranging from a dozen to 150 people, providing a memorable setting for special occasions.
