Mountain View Rocking B Ranch (formerly Bennett's Riding Stable)

Located on Gage Hill Road in Lake Luzerne, this family-owned ranch, formerly Bennett's Riding Stable, has offered horseback riding in the southern Adirondacks since 1942. Situated at the gateway to the Adirondack Park, the ranch features mountain views, pine forests, and winding trails that reflect its western heritage. For generations, guests have returned for the riding and the feeling of stepping into a slower, simpler Adirondack tradition. Riders can choose from various experiences, including one-hour trail rides through quiet forest paths, two-hour mountain rides that climb to summit views, and junior rides for younger children. Specialty rides include breakfast beside a brook and sunset dinners overlooking the Adirondacks. The ranch operates seasonally from May 1 through late October. It also offers a small retail line with ranch apparel and jewelry, and the Dinner Mountain Ride can accommodate engagements and small intimate weddings.
