About Hurricane Grill & Wings.
Six Flags Drive in Queensbury, attached to the Great Escape Lodge property. Hurricane Grill is a Florida-born chain doing a beach-shack format inside an Adirondack indoor waterpark hotel, which is an odd geographic mash-up that works exactly because the captive Great Escape audience wants familiar food after a day on Lazy River.
The kitchen's headline plate is the jumbo wings: 35-plus sauces, the rotation that gives the menu most of its repeat business. Burgers and tacos cover the kids who won't touch a wing, and the bar runs a wide beer-and-cocktail program for parents who needed it three hours ago.
Online ordering for pickup or delivery covers the night you want the kids to eat at the room. Best for Great Escape Lodge guests and a quick stop off Northway Exit 20; not worth the drive from Lake George Village or Bolton when the village's own restaurants are closer. Year-round.
