§ Field Notes

About Brant Lake Camp.

Founded in 1916, Brant Lake Camp is one of the country's oldest single-family owned boys' summer camps, located in the Adirondack Mountains. It caters to boys aged 7 to 15, providing a traditional sleepaway experience with a thoughtful approach to child development, recognizing and adapting to boys' changing needs as they grow. The camp is renowned for its "Sports Done Right" philosophy, offering comprehensive instruction in various individual and team sports, alongside extensive water sports and traditional camp activities. A unique Mini-Camp System ensures a small-camp feel and age-appropriate programming, dividing campers into Junior (7-11), Intermediate (12-13), and Senior (14-16) camps. Beyond sports, the program includes a range of activities and hobbies, all within its well-equipped facilities and scenic waterfront.
