Minnowbrook Conference Center.

Minnowbrook Conference Center is owned and operated by Syracuse University and occupies twenty-eight acres on the north shore of Blue Mountain Lake in the central Adirondacks. The property is structured as a small-group conference retreat — its model is seclusion and concentration rather than volume.

The reconstructed main lodge retains the original architectural heritage of the building it replaced while meeting current building codes and energy standards. It contains five fireplaces, ten bedrooms, a dining room, and a Great Room with a 24-foot cathedral ceiling, exposed trusses, and balcony railings hand-hewn on site. The setting and scale are designed to foster creative conferencing — gatherings where the goal is concentrated thinking and group bonding away from any other distraction.

Located 100 miles from Albany, 135 from Syracuse, and 265 from New York City. While the conference center is primarily booked by Syracuse-affiliated programs and academic groups, it does accept external bookings.
