About Rivermede Farm Market.
Located in the high peaks region of the Adirondack Park, Rivermede Farm was originally owned by the Beede Family, early settlers in Keene Valley, before being acquired by the descendants of Livingston Ludlow Taylor in 1906. Rob Hastings, a great grandson of Livingston, has managed the farm and its land since the late 1980s.
Today, the farm features 7 greenhouses, over 3 acres of intensely planted gardens, and a farm store established to support the local community.
The farm remains dedicated to extending its growing season, finding alternative energy sources to cultivate crops in harsh weather conditions, and expanding diversity in crops for local people to enjoy.
Products available include local veggies, maple syrup, wreaths, balsam pillows, gifts, chocolate, nuts, and animal treats. Customers have options to shop online or download an order form.
