About Double H Ranch.
This Adirondack camp provides specialized, free year-round programs and support for children and families living with chronic and serious illnesses. It offers a safe and adventurous environment where health challenges do not define the campers, capturing the magic of the Adirondacks.
Co-founded by Charles R. Wood and Paul Newman, Double H Ranch offers a variety of programs including a summer camp, adaptive winter sports, and spring and fall weekend programs. An outreach program and a medical facility are also part of its comprehensive support.
For over 30 years, the ranch has served over 80,000 children, providing outdoor Adirondack adventures. It is a member of the SeriousFun Children’s Network, an organization of camps and programs worldwide serving seriously ill children and their families.
