About Giant Mountain Wilderness.
This wilderness area, encompassing 23,100 acres within the Adirondack Forest Preserve, is characterized by its mountainous landscape. It is home to two prominent peaks that exceed 4,000 feet in elevation: the namesake Giant Mountain and Rocky Peak.
