Streams like this are common in the southern Adirondacks: named, sometimes bridged by a county road, but functionally private or otherwise off the day-trip grid. If you're hunting brook trout headwaters or unmapped put-ins, Spring Run might be worth a property-line check and a conversation with the town clerk.
