About Raquette Lake Girls Camp.
Raquette Lake Girls Camp provides overnight summer camp experiences for girls aged 6 to 15 in the Adirondacks. As part of Raquette Lake Camps, established in 1916, it operates alongside a separate boys' camp, offering both 4-week and full 7-week sessions. The camp focuses on creating a fun and engaging environment where girls can thrive.
The camp offers a safe setting designed for children to form lasting friendships, gain confidence, and develop into remarkable young adults. Directors guide campers through a wide variety of activities, from traditional sports and wilderness camping to waterfront programs and quiet time, encouraging them to learn about themselves and become their best selves.
With over a century of operation, Raquette Lake Camps is one of America's oldest family-owned and operated brother/sister sleepaway camps. Many campers are second, third, and even fourth-generation attendees, returning each summer to rekindle old friendships and make new ones. The diverse program ensures each child has opportunities to discover new interests and succeed.
