About The Sagamore Resort.
The Sagamore sits on its own island at Bolton Landing on the west shore of Lake George, anchoring a stretch of shoreline that has welcomed guests since 1883. The main hotel building, the lakeside cottages, and the Opal-collection updates preserve a resort era that began when steamboats connected Lake George to the rest of the east coast.
The signature **Donald Ross-designed 18-hole championship course** rolls up the hillside above the resort with views to the Narrows; the **Opal Spa** and multiple restaurants (one of them a classic 1883-era hotel dining room) round out the property. Rooms range from main-hotel traditional to lakeside cottages and modern Hermitage suites.
Book through the resort directly at **866.384.1944** or reach the front desk at **518.644.9400**.
