Four cottages and a lake house on Long Lake, May to November.

§ The Story

What you’re stepping into .

Four cottages and a lake house on Long Lake, May to November.

A mile south of Long Lake hamlet on Deerland Road, on a wooded stretch of the lake's east shore. The whole operation runs seasonally, May through November, which is the honest window for waterfront cottages this far north.

Four fully furnished cottages with one, two, and three bedrooms, all facing the lake. A separate two-story Lake House with an enclosed porch sleeps up to eight and works for a family taking the whole place for a week. Sandy beach, dock, picnic tables, grills, and free canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards in the rental.

Wifi and Dish TV in every unit. Pet-friendly cottages available on request. Long Lake itself is the longest natural lake in the central Adirondacks and connects upstream to the Raquette River paddling chain, which is the real reason to base here for a week with a boat. Book early for July and August; weekly stays sell out first.
